We work to expand and deepen American society’s awareness of the many critical, complex and interwoven problems of a rapidly globalizing world culture and economy.
Combining “ilm”, the Arabic word for knowledge - which in Islamic tradition encompasses theory, practice and education - with American pragmatic vision and compassion, ilmworks seeks to foster new thinking about global problems and opportunities through thoughtful use of new and legacy media.
By asking questions concerning newsworthy events of a wide variety of experts and participants, especially youth, ilmworks encourages a more profound and constructive dialogue regarding the core issues that currently affect all world citizens. |
